SSD with Data Caching
Discover how your web sites will have noticeably better performance on a server, provided with SSDs with Data Caching.
A solid-state drive is really faster than any regular hard-disk drive. It is because an HDD employs spinning disks, that can rotate only so fast and the more information is read and written, the slower and hotter they get, while an SDD works with modules of flash memory, so there aren't any physically moving components. The access speeds for an SSD are considerably higher, which makes this sort of drives a recommended solution when speed is needed. This is the reason why SSDs are in many cases used for the Operating System on a laptop or computer and for storing data which is accessed regularly on hosting servers. Numerous service providers also use a combination of both drives, so they keep the data on hard drives, but they use one or more solid-state drives in order to cache the more frequently used data and because of that, the data loads faster while the load on the HDDs is decreased because their disks have to spin less frequently in order to read and write.

SSD with Data Caching in Hosting
Our modern cloud website hosting platform employs only SSD drives, so if you purchase any of our
hosting plans, you'll take full advantage of the speed that the drives provide. We no longer use hard drives, so your files, databases and e-mails will all open from extremely fast SSDs. For even greater performance, we use caching solid-state drives. A number of drives are used by our system for every file that's accessed often and the data on these drives is dynamically updated in order to ensure that all the traffic-intensive files load from them. That way, the load on the primary drives is lowered, so we can provide excellent performance for all sorts of Internet sites regardless of how frequently they are accessed and prevent a situation where some Internet sites are affected by too many reading and writing processes created by others. This setup also raises the lifespan of the primary drives and decreases the risk of disk failure.

SSD with Data Caching in Semi-dedicated Hosting
All
semi-dedicated hosting accounts that we provide are created on a cloud platform which employs exclusively SSD drives. We don't use HDDs anymore, so your websites will load extremely fast as we employ SSDs for every aspect of the service - files, databases and email addresses. As some customers may host sites which could be more frequently visited than others, we also use multiple drives for caching. Our system detects all the content which is loaded more frequently and clones it on these drives in order to load it from them. This setup is used for load-balancing purposes as we ensure that several reading/writing intensive sites will not influence the performance of the rest of the websites which are stored on the very same main drive. Using caching drives also raises the lifespan of the main storage SSDs and decreases the chance of disk failures.
